FAQs
-
Therapy involves ongoing exploration of thoughts, analyzing behaviors, and focuses on emotional experiencing. While skills taught in the coaching program do target thoughts, emotions and behaviors, we will not dive into your individual experiences on a weekly basis. Skills coaching is individualized in that I hand select skills to meet your identified goals, and they are taught with a generalized approach to decrease the need for intensive processing.

During our first two sessions, I will ask some questions related to your life that will require a level of vulnerability. This will allow me to identify the skills that will be most impactful toward reaching your goals. Beyond that, our sessions will focus on teaching you new skills, reviewing how you were skillful in the last week, and troubleshoot how to use skills in between sessions.
