Explore more than just conventional talk therapy.
Supporting women using proven techniques
You’re ready for a new approach to therapy.
Maybe you’ve been to therapy before but felt like it stayed on the surface or turned into just another place to vent. My approach goes deeper than talk therapy—focusing on meaningful, lasting change through a strong therapeutic relationship. We work collaboratively, with you leading the way and me supporting you with proven practices that fit your goals and needs. It’s not about fixing you, but about helping you reconnect with your strength, clarity, and capacity for growth.
The evidence based practices I use
-
What it is: Dialectical Behavior Therapy is a structured, skills-based approach designed to help you manage intense emotions, navigate relationships with more ease, and feel more grounded in yourself. It was originally created for women dealing with emotional dysregulation and has since helped many women reclaim balance and clarity in their lives.
How it may show up in your therapy: You may learn practical tools to respond to emotional overwhelm, set boundaries, and build more fulfilling relationships. We’ll work on staying present, coping with distress without spiraling, and tuning into your own inner wisdom—especially in situations where you may have felt lost, dismissed, or too much. -
What it is: Exposure Therapy is a step-by-step approach to facing fears, anxiety, or past traumas with compassion and care. It helps reduce avoidance behaviors that may be keeping you stuck—especially in areas where your safety, voice, or autonomy have felt compromised.
How it may show up in your therapy: You and I might gently explore situations or memories that feel overwhelming, building a sense of safety as you face them. Whether it’s reclaiming your sense of power in your body, breaking free from old fears, or unlearning patterns of silence, this work is paced with your comfort and healing at the center. -
What it is: Mentalization-Based Therapy helps strengthen your ability to understand and reflect on what’s going on inside yourself and others. It’s especially valuable if you’ve felt misunderstood, emotionally reactive, or caught in painful relationship dynamics.
How it may show up in your therapy: We’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and reactions—especially in relationships—and begin to understand them in a deeper, more compassionate way. This may help you break out of cycles where you’ve felt unheard, over-responsible, or unsure of your own perspective. -
What it is: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy helps you build a life rooted in your values, even when emotional pain or self-doubt show up. It invites you to make room for your full experience as a woman—your grief, your power, your joy—without getting stuck in struggle or perfectionism.
How it may show up in your therapy: We’ll work on identifying what truly matters to you and gently loosening the grip of harsh inner critics or limiting beliefs. You’ll learn to be present, honor your emotions, and take meaningful steps toward a life that reflects your truth—not just the roles or expectations placed on you.
Ultimately, what matters most is this:
No matter what you're going through, we will find a way to grow through it together.
Am I the right for you?
